There is already staff, furniture, food service and established event space.

At a Restaurant
For a smaller group, this may be the simplest answer.
You are not building an event from scratch.
For a larger group, ask about private space, fixed menus, deposits, minimum spend and whether everybody can actually sit reasonably close together.
